NFL free agency begins March 14, and the Indianapolis Colts have a lot of salary cap room with which to pursue veterans. General Manager Chris Ballard, who signed 11 unrestricted free agents last offseason, could be active again.
More signings are the norm early in a personnel boss' tenure.
Bill Polian made the personnel moves from 1997-2011. He was active in his first three offseasons, but from 2004-11, he signed a total of six unrestricted free agents.
