The Colts released return specialist Josh Cribbs. He was signed as a free agent last season and returned 19 punts for 125 yards and 19 kickoffs for 608 yards in six games.
This comes after the Colts' surprising selection of receiver Phillip Dorsett 29th on Thursday night. Dorsett, with times in the 40-yard dash faster than 4.3 seconds, could serve as a returner next season.
For Friday night's Rounds 2 and 3 of the draft (7 p.m. ET, ESPN2, NFL Network), it seems certain that the Colts will address offensive and defensive line, as well as safety, even potentially trading up to do so.
