The Indianapolis Colts have yet to put on their pads for new defensive coordinator Ted Monachino, but he’s already putting his fingerprints all over what he expects out of an unit that has finished in the bottom third in the NFL in three of four seasons under coach Chuck Pagano.
“To me, the first four weeks, what we’ve learned so far is that every guy has a responsibility within the defense,” veteran linebacker D'Qwell Jackson said. “I think that alone gives us that ownership of the defense.
