NASHVILLE — A pair of surprising playmakers are healthy scratches for the Indianapolis Colts as Carson Wentz gets ready to start against the Tennessee Titans despite two sprained ankles.
Running back Marlon Mack and rookie wide receiver Mike Strachan are healthy scratches in Tennessee, even though both players have had complementary roles in the offense at one point or the other in the first two weeks.
Mack did not play a snap in the season opener, but the Colts gave the veteran running back 13 snaps against Los Angeles. Mack picked up 16 yards on five carries and wasn’t able to haul in his only target.
