INDIANAPOLIS -- Andrew Luck has been restored to the active roster, and he has plenty of company in the Indianapolis Colts' quarterback room.
For now, at least.
As it has said it would all summer, the team activated Luck from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list prior to Saturday's 4 p.m. deadline. It remains unlikely the 27-year-old quarterback will play in the Sept. 10 opener against the Rams at Los Angeles.
"I would say again the odds are most likely he probably won't open up against the Rams," owner Jim Irsay said after Thursday's preseason finale against the Bengals.
