CARSON, Calif. -- In the coming days, you're going to read a lot about all the ways the Indianapolis Colts fumbled away their season-opener in Los Angeles. Indeed, there's quite a bit of blame to go around for that unnecessary 30-24 overtime loss. So many Colts took opportunities to shoot themselves in the hoof.
There was the Canton-bound kicker who missed two makeable field goals as well as an extra point. There was the Pro Bowl tight end who failed to secure a would-be touchdown pass. There was the defense that couldn't put the skids on a pair of second-string running backs or keep Philip Rivers from doing absolutely anything he wanted in overtime.
