The Indianapolis Colts escaped with an important AFC South win on the road in Houston. In what should have been a dominant offensive performance, Indianapolis looked lost for nearly the entire second half. Against one of the worst run defenses in the league, Frank Reich appeared intent on asking Philip Rivers to throw the ball 40 times instead (he got close, 35 passing attempts).
The 4-and-1 play in the fourth quarter was really bad. Running Nyheim Hines up the gut in short-yardage situations is stupid every time. Jonathan Taylor has the size and power to get the yard.
