ANDERSON – The Indianapolis Colts’ quarterback and center, Andrew Luck and Khaled Holmes, take the being-on-the-same-page theme literally. As in: They are actually reading from the same pages.
Over the offseason, one of the books Luck recommended was the “Illiad,” the ancient Greek poem. Holmes, a classics major at Southern Cal, needed no prodding.
“We were just going back and forth, talking about that,” Holmes said. “It’s one of my favorites. He might have read the ‘Odyssey’ as well, so we were discussing that.”
Connecting with his centers can only help Luck, who has played behind five in three pro seasons.
