Jonathan Taylor continues to put his name in the Colts record books. On Sunday, he surpassed a Hall of Famer and franchise legend.
Taylor’s 108 rushing yards in the team’s loss to Las Vegas gave him 1,733 for the season, breaking the single-season franchise mark set by Edgerrin James in 2000 (1,709).
“Congratulations on breaking the single-season all-time rushing record,” James said in a video that played over the jumbotron at Lucas Oil Stadium. “It’s been a great season for you. Keep it up, keep it going and take this team to the next level.”
Taylor appreciated the recognition.
