WESTFIELD — Colts owner Jim Irsay believes deeply in Chris Ballard’s ability to evaluate talent, in Frank Reich’s offensive mind and ability to work with quarterbacks, in the character of both men and their ability to walk in lockstep together.
For the past couple of seasons, Irsay has praised Ballard and Reich effusively in any chance he gets.
Irsay put his money behind his words Wednesday morning.
The Colts signed Ballard and Reich to twin contract extensions through the 2026 season, the team announced, tying the team’s top two decision-makers together for the next half-decade. Salaries were not disclosed by the team.
