According to Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay, his star quarterback Andrew Luck is “good to go” after missing the majority of this past season with a lacerated kidney:
“We have continued to monitor that with the kidney doctors and he is good to go,” Irsay said on Tuesday. “He’s healed. He’s really looking forward to a great offseason and getting ready. If we were playing in the Super Bowl he’d be ready to go.”
The injury cost Luck 9 games, and in his absence, the Colts limped to an 8-8 finish–failing to make the playoffs for the first time since the 2011 season.
