INDIANAPOLIS – As expected, Jerrell Freeman will be back with the Colts in 2015.
Freeman signed his qualifying offer on Monday morning, thus remaining in Indianapolis for a fourth straight season.
The former Canadian Football League product was a restricted free agent this offseason.
As one of Ryan Grigson’s first signings back in January of 2012, Freeman has been a three-year starter after he was thrust into duty following Pat Angerer’s foot injury in the 2012 preseason.
In 2012 and 2013, Freeman led the Colts in tackles. Last season, he battled a hamstring injury in playing 12 games.
