Matt Gay was money against the Baltimore Ravens last year setting a NFL record for most kicks made over 50 yards in a game. It was a drizzly affair, but the newly signed kicker made it look easy as the Indianapolis Colts picked up an improbable early season victory on the road. Fast forward through the season and the once automatic kicker started to have some issues. While his extra point percentage stayed at 97.2%, his field goal percentage fell to 80.5%. That isn’t worth the highest paid kicker contract in the league, and the concern now is whether those issues have been fully resolved.
