SEATTLE – They’re so young.
The second-year quarterback making his first start on the road. The rookie safety leading the NFL in interceptions. The first-year player thrown into the fire at center on the game’s second play.
So many of these Indianapolis Colts are in the absolute infancy of their NFL careers. But this game waits for no one. In this league, it’s adapt or die.
You can beat the Cleveland Browns at home and feel good about the progress displayed therein. But when you come here, to the Pacific Northwest, where the defense swarms and the crowd roars, the task becomes so much more difficult.
