Insider: Why Colts RB Jonathan Williams didn't get a carry in second half Sunday

INDIANAPOLIS — For almost two full games, Jonathan Williams was the Colts’ lead back, taking the lion’s share of the carries left open when Marlon Mack broke his hand against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

And then he wasn’t.

Williams, who carried eight times in the first half, took a back seat to Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines in the second half of the Colts’ loss to the Titans, getting zero carries and finishing with 16 snaps overall, as compared to 32 for Wilkins and 31 for Hines.
