INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts do not plan to release veteran running back Marlon Mack.
Not even after he was a healthy scratch for the second time in 2021 last Thursday, just two days after the trade deadline passed without Indianapolis making a deal that could have given Mack an opportunity to prove he still has what it takes to be a No. 1 back in the NFL.
From the sounds of it, the topic hasn’t been broached in the Indianapolis offices.
“No discussions, as far as I’m concerned, as far as any kind of mutual release at this point,” Colts head coach Frank Reich said.
