PITTSBURGH – With the likelihood of quarterback Andrew Luck missing the Indianapolis Colts’ regular-season opener increasing by the day, the opportunities for his stand-in to demonstrate his preparedness were quickly running out.
Scott Tolzien, seemingly unlikely to play much, if at all, in the Colts’ preseason finale, had only Saturday night’s matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers left to rid himself of the sour taste that lingered from the first two weeks of the preseason.
