HOUSTON -- The road back to the playoffs just got a whole lot more difficult. The Indianapolis Colts dropped a 20-17 backbreaker against the Houston Texans on Thursday night that could have massive implications on their ability to make the playoffs.
With the defeat, the Colts fall to 6-5 while the Texans move to 7-4 and are now in complete control of their own destiny in the AFC South. The Colts, meanwhile, will need help moving forward. They'll hope either the Texans slip up or they can scratch out a second consecutive wild-card berth.
One thing is for sure, though.
