INDIANAPOLIS — Well, the NFL tried to make up for ignoring the Colts in prime time over the last decade or so.
But the league’s schedule-makers somehow still found a way to miss the point Colts owner Jim Irsay has been shouting from the rooftops every chance he gets.
Irsay has been clamoring to play in prime time at home. On the field at Lucas Oil Stadium, in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. The 2021 schedule the NFL released on Wednesday puts the Colts in front of a national audience four times, the most since Indianapolis played five games in prime time in 2015, but only one of those games will happen at Lucas Oil Stadium.
