Colts Reich talks win on the road over the Texans Matt Kryger, IndyStar
HOUSTON — The Colts defense faced a midterm exam on Sunday.
A chance for an Indianapolis defense to prove that the past month or so has been no fluke, that its holiday run of success the past three weeks was a sign that a young defense is coming into its own, rather than a product of playing offenses with little to no punch. Tennessee, Miami and Jacksonville’s offenses all rank in the bottom quarter of the NFL.
Houston, on the other hand, can put up a lot of points, a lesson a young Colts defense learned in the first meeting between the two teams this season.
