INDIANAPOLIS -- No one unit has failed the Indianapolis Colts more thoroughly or more consistently this season than the group that trots onto the field with the goal of kicking the football through the goal posts.
Every part of that unit has now broken down at a critical time this year. First it was the kicker, then the snapper/holder and on Sunday, for the first time, the line got in on the act.
With a chance to grab a 20-17 lead in the closing minutes of a critical divisional matchup against the Tennessee Titans, the Colts' field goal unit choked yet again.
