Insider: Colts try to go 1-on-1 with Browns' Myles Garrett ... and lose

The aging quarterback is going to get the headlines and the bulk of the criticism.

All of the criticism is warranted. Rivers has been asked to carry the Colts twice this season, and instead of rising to the challenge, his worst qualities have been on display both times.

But the rest of the Indianapolis offense, from the offensive line to the running backs to the wide receivers, has been mediocre this season, and despite the defense repeatedly giving the Colts offense chances to prove its worth in the second half of a 32-23 defeat at the hands of the Browns, a unit that has struggled all season wasn’t able to take the game out of Rivers’ hands at all.
