INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts unveiled a new primary weapon Sunday.
A weapon they’ve been dying to use for more than a year now, ever since Indianapolis used a second-round pick on Ohio State wide receiver Parris Campbell in the 2019 draft, only to have injuries get in the way every time the Colts tried to fully deploy his talents last fall.
Campbell is healthy now, the four injuries, three surgeries and a training-camp car accident behind him now, fully versed in the Indianapolis offense.
The possibilities his talent offer are tantalizing. Campbell caught six passes for a team-leading 71 yards and picked up nine more yards on a reverse action flip from Philip Rivers.
