INDIANAPOLIS — Frank Reich and the Colts pulled off something improbable on Sunday night, something only two other teams have been able to pull off in the nearly half a century since the AFL-NFL merger.
Indianapolis emerged from the depths of a 1-5 start and came roaring back to make the playoffs.
The Colts had precious little time to revel in their accomplishment.
Half an hour, give or take a few minutes, in the locker room. Maybe a few more minutes on the trip home to Indianapolis. Then it was time to start thinking about the next step.
