OAKLAND — The Indianapolis Colts made it interesting against one of the worst teams in football on Sunday.
But a powerful ground game and a brilliant Andrew Luck, complete with one big play from the defense, allowed the Colts to win a 42-28 shootout and head into the bye with two straight wins.
Indianapolis (3-5) dominated the ground, and kicker Adam Vinatieri passed Morten Andersen to become the NFL’s all-time leader in points, leaving the Colts with good feelings heading into the bye.
