The Colts didn’t exactly make headlines by waiving receiver Josh Boyce this morning, but they did raise some questions about their plans for shoring up the depth in their receiver unit.
Asked about the team’s decision to part ways with one of the only backup receivers with NFL experience, coach Chuck Pagano said the team wants to further explore the abilities of its up-and-coming rookies. But he also said the club might be in the market for outside help, too.
“We have some young guys that we want to focus on a little bit,” Pagano said. “And there’s some guys out there that we’re looking at as well.
