INDIANAPOLIS – And just like that, it’s over. The Scott Tolzien era lasted all of three quarters.
The Indianapolis Colts, desperate as they are, victims of a bed they themselves have made, are making a change at quarterback one game into the 2017 season, swapping out incumbent Scott Tolzien for new arrival Jacoby Brissett, who’ll start Sunday’s home opener against the Arizona Cardinals after practicing with the team just seven times.
Make no mistake: This is more about the Colts – and about Tolzien – than it is about Brissett, the former New England Patriot the Colts acquired in a trade on Sept.
