INDIANAPOLIS — Andrew Luck earned the AFC’s Offensive Player of the Week award on Wednesday, something of a symbolic milepost for a quarterback who a year ago at this time was toiling in seclusion in The Netherlands, shoulder betraying him, career very much in peril.
The thing about that award?
He doesn’t care. Like, at all. It's the fifth time in his career he's won the award, and there's exactly zero chance he's aware of that fact.
“That’s just Andrew, man,” laughs tight end Eric Ebron. “He’ll never even mention it.”
And this isn’t just humility.
