WESTFIELD — The Colts finished up their final practice at Grand Park on Wednesday, began packing up the team’s equipment to take it back to the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center and officially wrapped up training camp.
One last preseason game remains at 7 p.m. Friday in Detroit.
Then the wheels begin picking up speed toward the Sept. 12 season opener against Seattle. Indianapolis must reduce its roster to 53 by next Tuesday, and next week the Colts begin their preparation for the Seahawks.
“We had a little bit of an extended stay. It was a great stay, really mission accomplished as far as what we wanted to do from this segment,” Colts head coach Frank Reich said.
