INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts are back in action this week, traveling to Detroit to take on the Lions at 1 p.m. Sunday at Ford Field (WTTV).
Indianapolis (4-2) should be rested coming off of the bye week, and the Lions (3-3) are trying to get on a roll after winning two straight and three of their last four. With the meat of the Colts schedule coming up next, and Detroit staring at an opportunity to get into the NFC playoff picture, here’s what to watch in a game that carries stakes for both teams.
1. The Colts lead the NFL in passer rating allowed, are second in total defense, fourth in scoring and third against the run, but Indianapolis has shown some cracks in the first half of the past two games, and Detroit seems equipped to widen those cracks.
