The Indianapolis Colts continued their search for help on the edges by drafting TCU defensive end Ben Banogu with the 49th overall pick. The Colts showed interest in Banogu by hosting him for a workout and attending his Pro Day. While may consider Banogu a project player by many based upon playing only two years at TCU, his athletic traits are absurd.
At the NFL Combine, measuring at 6’3”, 250 lbs., Banogu ran a 4.62 40 yard dash (6th among Edge players) , put up a 40” vertical jump (1st among Edge players) and set an NFL Combine record with a 11’2” broad jump.
