This is an exciting time of the year in the NFL. Yesterday the legal tampering period began at noon, marking the unofficial start of free agency. It means that teams and the agents of unrestricted free agents from around the league can begin discussing deals, but none can be officially signed until the new league year begins on Thursday, March 9, at 4:00 p.m. ET.
The Colts have several free agents who will have their contracts expire at that point if not re-signed: Mike Adams (UFA), Darius Butler, (UFA), Chris Carter (UFA), Trent Cole (UFA), Jack Doyle (UFA), Hugh Thornton (UFA), Jordan Todman (UFA), Robert Turbin (UFA), Erik Walden (UFA), Jonotthan Harrison (RFA), Zach Kerr (RFA), Josh McNary (RFA), Erik Swoope (ERFA), Quan Bray (ERFA).
