The Indianapolis Colts got a steal when they selected Zaire Franklin in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL draft. In March of this year, the Colts did the necessary work of ensuring Franklin is around for the foreseeable future by inking him to a three year extension for $31 million. That isn’t too bad for a linebacker that had the second most tackles in 2023 and the second most over the last two seasons. Franklin was recognized for his efforts when he was selected as the 100th best player in the NFL on their top 100 list.
