About a month ago, every NFL football fan mocked and taunted Indianapolis Colts receiver Griff Whalen for snapping the ball on a horrible trick play on special teams. An infamous moment like that can send a player’s career into a downward spiral. However, this has not been the case with Whalen. Over the past two games, Whalen has increased his production and helped put the Colts in better position to win games.
Whalen was an undrafted rookie in 2012, and had struggled to gain a foothold on the Colts’ active roster until this season.
