13 first downs, 227 total net yards, an average of 4.6 yards per play, two turnovers, just 3 points scored (I don’t think giving them credit for Gay’s first field goal makes sense, they got just two yards after Cross’ interception and then kicked it). One thinks “There is no way that this offense can play any worse” and they somehow manage to do it every single week. Now this one is definitely worse though, because I can understand offensive struggles when playing with your inexperienced 22-year old quarterback, as even though he is inconsistent right now you have the hope that with playing time he will be able to reach his full potential.
