Grading Steichen: Week 10 vs. Bills

Shane Steichen was hired as the head-coach of the Indianapolis Colts mainly because of his work developing quarterback Jalen Hurts. The franchise then drafted Anthony Richardson, a young signal-caller, with very little experience, but undeniable potential. The first season started off really exciting, before Richardson had to have surgery on his shoulder, and then the Colts remained surprisingly competitive with Gardner Minshew filling in for AR. Before this season, fans were warned, and we were expecting, some inconsistencies from the quarterback position as AR was basically a rookie. Now just 8 games into the season, AR was benched in favor of the “better” veteran option in Flacco.
