EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Indianapolis Colts running back Frank Gore is now eighth on the NFL's all-time rushing list.
Gore moved ahead of Tony Dorsett for eighth place when he gained 19 yards on a run off tackle in the second quarter of Monday's game against the New York Jets.
Dorsett is the seventh player that the 33-year-old Gore has passed on the all-time rushing list this season. He's also passed Jim Brown, Thurman Thomas, Franco Harris, Marcus Allen, Edgerrin James and Marshall Faulk.
"I think he's as natural of a runner as I've ever been around," Colts offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski said last week.
