INDIANAPOLIS — When Tony Dungy first arrived in Indianapolis as the head coach of the Colts, he brought with him one of his passion projects, the All Pro Dad Experience, and established an annual tradition that outlived his time in the city.
Every year for 12 years running, hundreds of kids and their fathers have poured into the team’s facility to spend a Saturday morning together, throwing the football and tackling, running 40-yard dashes and attempting the vertical leap.
Dungy’s passion project lasted through his entire tenure, through all of Jim Caldwell’s, even for a year or two after Chuck Pagano took over.
