INDIANAPOLIS – Rookie running back Marlon Mack has put pen to paper on his first NFL contract.
Mack, who was taken in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, becomes the fifth draft pick to sign this month.
During last weekend’s rookie minicamp, Mack explained what it is like to be in the same running back room as Frank Gore.
“Running backs don’t last 13 years in the league no more. So I’m trying to do whatever Frank did,” Mack said.
Expect Mack to have a chance at carving out a situational role in 2017, while playing behind Gore and Robert Turbin.
