INDIANAPOLIS — All Brandon Peters wants is a chance.
A chance to get on an NFL roster and show what he can do, a chance to make good on the dream he’s held since he was a little kid in Avon, watching the Colts and dreaming of playing in Indianapolis.
Peters got a taste of that dream Monday, trying out in front of Colts personnel with 40 other draft prospects at the team’s local pro day. The road he’s taken to get this point hasn’t been the route he originally planned.
But it’s gotten him to this point, two and a half weeks left before the draft begins, a potential NFL opportunity on the horizon.
