INDIANAPOLIS – On Thursday, the Colts saw a pair of their former linebackers ink deals with new teams.
Josh McNary is heading to Jacksonville and Chris Carter is off to the nation’s capital.
Carter was an unrestricted free agent in 2017 after playing just one season with the Colts.
The likelihood of Carter re-signing with the Colts was not real high given the changing of the guard at the outside linebacker position in Indianapolis.
In 2017, Carter played a grand total of five defensive snaps the entire season for the Colts, seeing special teams action in nine games.
