INDIANAPOLIS — After an injury-plagued first, and only, season in Indianapolis, Patrick Robinson has found a new home.
The cornerback on Tuesday signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.
After putting together a career year with the San Diego Chargers in 2015, the Colts signed Robinson to a three-year contract last offseason as one of the team’s primary free agency additions, hoping he could help create a formidable cornerback duo with Vontae Davis.
Robinson would put together a fine offseason program for the Colts, but he began to really be affected by the injury bug in training camp, and never really got 100 percent healthy from there.
