INDIANAPOLIS — A second member of the 2017 Indianapolis Colts coaching staff has re-joined the college ranks.
Joe Gilbert, who served as the Colts’ assistant offensive line coach in 2012 and 2016-17 and their offensive line coach from 2013-15, will be the new offensive line coach at the University of Arizona under head coach Kevin Sumlin, the school announced this week.
Frank Giufre, who was an offensive quality control coach in Indy from 2012-17, was also recently named the offensive line coach at UConn.
Gilbert spent his first season in Indy as the Colts’ assistant offensive line coach before taking over the group for three seasons.
