Former Colts running back Zurlon Tipton was pronounced dead today in Michigan after suffering a gunshot wound to the stomach.
According to reports, Tipton pulled into a local car dealership in Roseville, MI. When removing a bag from his car, one of Tipton's guns in the bag discharged, shooting Tipton in the stomach.
Tipton was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. He was 26 years old.
Tipton signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2014. Tipton saw minimal playing time with the Colts until the playoff run to the AFC Title Game, where Tipton was the immediate back-up to Boom Herron.
