The Indianapolis Colts desperately needed a change on the defensive side of the ball. It was a unit that struggled mightily in 2023 and again in 2024 under Gus Bradley. His propensity for zones and light pressure were problematic, but they were also a symptom of what he had at his disposal. Bradley was only going to be as effective as the players he was provided, and after yelling last season that the Colts needed to bring in more talent on that side of the ball, the calls went unanswered. Lou Anarumo is the new man in town tasked with leading this unit, but he will suffer the same fate as Bradley if Chris Ballard refuses to make personnel changes.
