INDIANAPOLIS -- There could be a Bjoern Werner sighting for the Indianapolis Colts against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. That’s because starting linebacker Erik Walden is doubtful for the game with a foot injury that has caused him to miss practice this week.
Walden left Heinz Field in Pittsburgh last weekend wearing a walking boot on his right foot. He has 35 tackles and three sacks this season.
Werner, the Colts’ first-round pick in 2013, has been inactive four times this season.
“For the last four or five weeks, whatever it is, he comes in here hard hat, lunch pail, he’s a pro,” Colts coach Chuck Pagano said.
