Jeff Saturday went back to 2002, to the first time he saw Dwight Freeney walk into the Indianapolis Colts’ locker room. He remembers being ... disappointed.
“He walks in, and as a football player, when you hear first-round pick at defensive end, Freeney doesn’t really match the picture,” Saturday said Thursday night while he hosted the team’s annual Town Hall event at Colts headquarters.
“(But) I will tell you, he puts his hand in the dirt and the very first time, his get-off terrified me,” Saturday continued.
