Defensive lineman/linebacker Dwight Freeney was named Thursday night as the 16th inductee into the Indianapolis Colts Ring of Honor.
Freeney was drafted 11th overall in 2002 and quickly established himself as a premier pass rusher. He led the NFL with nine forced fumbles in his rookie season and he led the lead with 16 sacks in 2004.
Freeney made seven Pro Bowls and notched double-digit sacks in seven of his 11 seasons with the Colts. He had 107.5 sacks as a Colts, second in franchise history to Robert Mathis' 123.
