WESTFIELD – Devin Funchess caught the first pass from No. 12. A spiral, tight enough, but without the zip you’d expect from an NFL quarterback. This would be a problem, that throw on the first day of the Indianapolis Colts’ training camp, if the guy wearing Andrew Luck’s jersey were, you know, Andrew Luck.
But it was not Luck. No, this was not one of those stories. This was not bad news.
