The Indianapolis Colts activated offensive guard Donald Thomas off the team’s offseason PUP list today, meaning that’s eligible to play in Saturday’s preseason game against the St. Louis Rams.
After signing a 4-year, $14 million dollar contract before the start of the 2013 season, Thomas has started in just 2 games over the past two seasons, having suffered two consecutive season-ending quad injuries.
Due $3.5 million guaranteed if he’s on the roster to start the season, the 8-year veteran is running out of time to make an impression on coaches with only two games left in the preseason.
